The strife is over...maybe

Let's hope the bitterness that has reared its ugly head in town in recent weeks can go away now that the voters have decided. Right or wrong, people purposed what they did over love of the town. The amendments were rejected. Let's move on. Feel free to comment.

    Congratulations to Valerie, Pat and Harry for winning their contests! Looking at the people who will hold office, I'm heartened to know that good, competent folks will be at work.

    Thank you all for your willingness to hold these positions and take on these responsibilities. It is a special kind of person who serves in public office and you all have my gratitude.
